This is the only
AM-only PLL radio I have ever seen. It is quite small, and was made only
for the Japanese market. The tuning dial is a strip of LEDs, one of which
is lit in the picture. Tuning can be done either with preset pushbuttons
or by scanning. Amazing technology, probably from the early 1980s. |
